Following a series of significant project awards, the business has secured a substantial pipeline of work across London and the South East, creating opportunities for ambitious commercial professionals to join its growing team. The company is currently delivering and tendering projects ranging from 50m to 300m+, including major residential developments, landmark healthcare facilities, large-scale commercial schemes and complex mixed-use regeneration projects. Your new roleDue to continued growth and a strong order book in the London area, our client is seeking an experienced QS or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. You will take ownership of the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with project teams to maximise commercial performance and manage contractual risk.Key responsibilities will include:Managing subcontract procurement and commercial agreementsPreparing valuations, forecasts, CVRs and final accountsManaging variations and change control processesSupporting value engineering and design development initiativesMaintaining commercial reporting and risk management processesMentoring and supporting junior commercial staffWorking alongside pre-construction teams during tender stagesYou'll have the opportunity to work on some of London's most notable projects across the residential, healthcare and commercial sectors.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record delivering construction projects within the residential, healthcare, commercial or major project sectors.You will also possess:Strong commercial and contractual management experienceExcellent CVR, forecasting and final account skillsExperience managing subcontractor packagesThe ability to lead, mentor and develop junior team membersExperience working on projects valued from 50m to 300m+ would be highly advantageous.What you'll get in returnIn return, you'll join an established tier one main contractor with an excellent reputation and long-term pipeline of work across London.
