Senior Quantity Surveyor

Your new company Operating both in the UK and across the world, they are a leading contractor delivering projects across multiple sectors including; real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water. Your new role An established main contractor is seeking a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of projects. The role requires a commercially astute professional with strong experience working to the National Schedule of Rates (NSR) and proven capability managing projects through delivery and final accounts. Key Responsibilities: Full commercial management of assigned works packages Preparation, assessment, and agreement of valuations Administering and managing change in accordance with the National Schedule of Rates Cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management Procurement and management of subcontractors Preparation and negotiation of final accounts Supporting the commercial strategy to maximise value and minimise risk Working closely with site and project teams to ensure robust cost control What you'll need to succeed Proven experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on UK projects Strong demonstrable experience using the National Schedule of Rates (NSR) Background with main contractors preferred Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
