Commercial Data Analyst

We are working with a well-established and growing construction / development business who are looking to appoint a Commercial Data Analyst to support their commercial and operational teams. This is a key role within the business, focused on turning data into meaningful insights that support decision-making, improve project performance, and drive commercial efficiency. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, finance and operations, playing a pivotal role in how data is used across the organisation. The Role As a Commercial Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting data across multiple projects and business functions. You will help the business understand performance, identify trends, and support strategic decisions through clear and concise reporting. Key Responsibilities Analyse commercial and operational data across multiple construction projects Produce clear reports, dashboards and visualisations for senior management Support monthly reporting cycles, including cost and performance analysis Identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve commercial performance Work closely with Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers to support cost control Assist in the development and improvement of data systems and reporting processes Provide insight to support forecasting, budgeting and business planning Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across systems About You * Experience in a Data Analyst / Commercial Analyst role * Strong Excel skills (essential) and experience with Power BI or similar tools * Ideally some exposure to construction, engineering or property sectors * Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail * Ability to communicate data clearly to non-technical stakeholders * Commercial awareness and understanding of project-based environments * Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple priorities What’s on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work within a growing and forward-thinking business Exposure to high-value, complex projects Career development and progression opportunities Collaborative and supportive team environment Apply Now If you are a commercially minded Data Analyst looking to work in a dynamic construction environment, we would be keen to hear from you
