Project Manager M&E

We are currently working with a leading fire protection contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced M&E-biased Project Manager to support the delivery of key projects across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work spanning commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. The Role: As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of fire protection projects with a strong focus on mechanical and electrical systems, including fire alarms, suppression systems, and associated infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: * Manage fire protection projects from pre-construction through to completion * Oversee M&E elements including fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and associated works * Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers * Ensure compliance with current fire safety and building regulations * Monitor project programmes, budgets, and risk * Carry out site visits, inspections, and progress meetings * Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders * Ensure all health & safety standards are met and maintained Requirements: * Proven experience as a Project Manager within M&E or fire protection * Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, suppression systems, and M&E services * Knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and industry standards * Relevant qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or similar (desirable) * SMSTS or equivalent * Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary and package * Opportunity to work on high-profile London projects * Supportive and growing company with clear progression routes * Long-term pipeline of secured work If you’re an M&E-focused Project Manager with experience in fire protection, or looking to move into this sector, this could be a great next step
