Our client is a leading Thames Valley law firm seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Legal Director Commercial Litigation Solicitor (8+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team in Reading.

This is a genuine Partner Designate opportunity, offering a clear pathway to Partnership for an ambitious Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role

You will handle a high-quality caseload of complex commercial disputes, advising businesses, directors, shareholders, investors and senior executives. Work will include:

• Commercial, contractual, corporate and shareholder disputes
• Partnership and director disputes
• Contentious insolvency and restrictive covenant matters
• Negotiation, mediation, ADR and court proceedings
• High-value and strategically important litigation, including High Court work
• Developing client relationships and contributing to business development

About You

• 8+ years' PQE in Commercial Litigation / Dispute Resolution
• Strong experience handling complex commercial disputes
• Confident advising corporates, directors, shareholders and business owners
• Commercially minded with strong client management and business development skills
• Ambitious and interested in progressing towards Partnership
