Maintenance Assistant

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the Maintenance function across both sites ensuring the hotels are maintained to the highest standards in line with Marriott brand expectations. You will play a key role in delivering a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our guests and associates.

Guest Experience

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests
• Minimise disruption and ensure a positive guest experience at all times

Maintenance Support

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
• Complete basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and general upkeep
• Support preventative maintenance programmes across both hotels

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company and brand health & safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with fire safety and life safety systems
• Identify and report maintenance risks or hazards proactively

Operations

• Assist in monitoring building systems including HVAC, water, and electrical systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
• Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives

Experience

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role preferred
• Experience within hospitality is beneficial but not essential
