Backshift Warehouse Supervisor Required We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Warrington, Appleton Thorn, a leading independent next-day or scheduled delivery services provider for parcels and freight. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Backshift Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation. Shift: Monday to Friday 14:00 - 23:00 Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Job Type: Temporary to Permanent The Role This is a hands-on supervisory position supporting the Shift Manager in the daily running of warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse performance and will step in to cover Shift Manager duties during absences. Key Responsibilities * Supervising warehouse operatives during the shift * Supporting the Shift Manager with daily operations * Maintaining productivity, safety, and team performance during the shift. * Coordinating loading, unloading, and freight sorting activities * Monitoring health & safety standards at all times * Acting as Shift Manager cover during absences What We Are Looking For * Previous warehouse supervisory or team leader experience preferred * Strong leadership and communication skills * Ability to motivate and manage teams in a fast-paced environment * Good organisational and problem-solving abililties * Reliable, proactive and hands-on approach What we offer * Temp to perm opportunity * Immediate start * Monday to Friday schedule * Career progression within a growing logistics operation * Supportive management team If you are interested in this role, please apply today
