Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join the team working across domestic/social housing properties. The successful candidate will carry out electrical testing, fault finding, repairs, and general electrical maintenance within occupied residential homes, ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical testing and inspection works within domestic properties
• Complete fault finding, repairs, and reactive maintenance tasks
• Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and safety standards
• Work within occupied social housing properties professionally and safely
• Accurately complete reports and certification following testing works
• Communicate effectively with tenants, supervisors, and the wider maintenance team
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times

Requirements:

Essential:

• Previous experience working in domestic settings/social housing
• City & Guilds 2392 Electrical Testing qualification
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
• Good xwzovoh understanding of electrical regulations and safe working practices
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Desirable:

• City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Testing & Inspection qualification
• Experience within housing association or local authority contracts
