About the role
*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting water systems across various commercial and industrial sites. This role requires technical expertise, practical skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring water safety and compliance.
*Responsibilities*
* Conducting water system inspections, including tanks, cooling towers, and pipework, to identify potential risks or contamination.
* General plumbing works for domestic, commercial and industrial properties
* Storage tank replacement
* Pipe work alterations
* Testing and serving of Thermostatic Mixing Valves
* Mains conversions
* Undertake legionella maintenance of building water services
* All training and resource will be provided
* Would suit someone wanting to specialise in area relevant to their field of work
*Essential Criteria*
* Experience with commercial and industrial plumbing systems
* 3 years + Experience
* Full, Clean, Driving License
* Excellent time keeping
* Excellent communication skills
* IT literate
* Ability to deal with customers on site and act in a professional manner
* Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative.
*Desirable*
* City & Guilds Level 3 Plumbing
* CSR
* Confined Space
* Manual handling
* Working at heights
* First Aid
* Legionella awareness training
* Performing cleaning, disinfection, and chemical treatment of water systems in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Utilising hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
* Repairing or replacing components such as valves, fittings, or pipework using plumbing and carpentry skills.
* Welding or fabricating parts as required for system repairs or modifications.
* Assisting with system assembly or installation projects on-site.
* Carrying out heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely and efficiently.
* Operating commercial vehicles for site visits when necessary, adhering to all driving regulations.
* Maintaining accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times during operations.
