Vehicle Technician Our client, a reputable franchise-approved dealership located in South Bristol, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician: Starting salary approximately £34,665 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications On-target annual earnings exceeding £40,000 through performance-related bonuses 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with additional leave entitlement based on length of service Comprehensive brand-approved training and development programmes Pensions scheme, life assurance, healthcare benefits, staff discounts, and access to various online shopping savings portals Long-term career progression prospects within a state-of-the-art dealership 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday onlyDuties: Conduct servicing and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards and workshop manuals Perform diagnostic tests, warranty repairs, and general vehicle repairs using advanced diagnostic tools Complete digital write-ups and accurate job card documentation for all work carried out Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) adhering to client procedures Support electric vehicle (EV) work and hydraulic repairs where qualified, ensuring safe and efficient servicing Utilise diagnostic software and equipment to identify and resolve complex technical issues Assist and mentor apprentice Vehicle Technicians and less experienced team members to enhance skill levels Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency in a busy franchise environmentRequirements: Qualifications at NVQ Level 3 / IMI accreditation in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Valid UK driving licence with minimal points Demonstrable experience working within a franchise-approved dealership or similar environment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Excellent team player with a proactive and mentor-oriented attitude Ability to produce high-quality work, managing workload effectively under pressure MOT certification is advantageous but not essential This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Vehicle Technician eager to advance their career within a dynamic, professional environment.
