We have an opportunity to work in a Client Support Services Department as a Reinsurance Technician. This is available on a hybrid basis, offering home working for 2 days a week, with the other 3 days based in an office in Witham. As Reinsurance Technician, you will support a client base through transactional processing, securing reinsurance recoveries through timely and accurate system entry. Responsibilities as Reinsurance Technician include: * Managing an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility of technical duties relating to client accounts. * Working with Market Fiduciary to assist with collection of funds. * Managing all Pro Rata post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps. This is inclusive of renewals * Promoting, building and maintaining relationships with Brokers, Clients and Markets * Participating in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department foExperience as r all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting. Preferred Reinsurance Technician as: * Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience, ie; handling cash loss/large loss and a desire to move into the Reinsurance sector. * Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. * Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure. * Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations.
