Teaching Assistant
Location: Portsmouth & Southampton
Hours: Full-time / Part-time (term-time)
Start: ASAP / September
Pay: £85 – £95 per day

We are seeking Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in the Portsmouth and Southampton areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience working with children, as well as individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
These roles include day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements, offering flexibility and the opportunity to find the right setting for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting students in the classroom across a range of subjects
• Assisting the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND
• Encouraging engagement and positive behaviour
• Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Adapting to different school settings and student needs
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible, positive and proactive approach
• Ability to support behaviour management effectively
• Passion for education and supporting student development
• Willingness to learn and adapt in different environments
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
