Occupational Health Advisor - Derbyshire

Role: Occupational Health Advisor Location: Derbyshire Hours: 4 days per week Salary: Up to £50k Cases: 4 per day Amber Mace are working with a client looking for an OH Advisor to join a busy, fast-paced in-house Occupational Health service. This is a hands-on clinical role where you will be delivering high-quality occupational health advice, managing a varied caseload, and supporting employees and managers with timely, practical guidance. You’ll be joining a supportive but high-performing team where no two days are the same, and responsiveness really matters. Key Responsibilities - Managing a varied occupational health caseload (approx. 4 cases per day, flexible) - Delivering fitness for work assessments and management referrals - Supporting return-to-work and absence management processes - Providing clear, practical clinical advice to managers and HR - Working as part of a multidisciplinary OH team - Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to KPI delivery - Supporting a proactive, preventative approach to workforce health About You - Registered Nurse - OH qualification ideal (10+ years experience if no qualification) - Strong case management experience - Confident delivering clear, evidence-based OH advice - Able to manage workload effectively in a busy environment - Strong communicator with good stakeholder engagement skills - Comfortable working onsite as part of a team What We Offer - Competitive salary up to £50,000 - Supportive, established OH team - Opportunity to work in a service that is evolving and improving - Onsite working with some flexibility after probation - Stable, long-term public sector environment If this role sounds of interest to you, please call Helene at Amber Mace on (phone number removed) or email your up to date CV to (url removed)
