Full-Time Year 6 Teacher – Partington
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Partington. The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 6 teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is motivated to support pupils through the pivotal final year of primary education and prepare them for a successful transition to secondary school.

The Role
As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching that supports academic achievement and personal development. Working closely with colleagues and leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum
Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders to drive pupil outcomes
Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable)
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Adapts teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs
Has a secure understanding of the National Curriculum
Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team
Confident with educational technology to support learning and assessment
Is reflective, motivated, and committed to maintaining high expectations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
