Structural Engineer Location: Hemel Hempstead Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits + Career Progression Our client, a well-established and highly respected engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their growing Structures team based in Hemel Hempstead. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer with 4+ years’ experience to join a forward-thinking consultancy delivering a wide range of residential and refurbishment projects, including both new build and historic structures. Key responsibilities will include: Designing structural solutions for residential projects, including new build and refurbishment schemes Working on historic and existing buildings, providing practical and sensitive engineering solutions Preparing calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports Undertaking structural inspections and site surveys Producing condition reports and recommendations for remedial works Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants Managing projects and ensuring delivery to programme and budget Supporting junior engineers where appropriate About You To be considered for this opportunity, you should have: Minimum 4 years’ experience in structural engineering consultancy Strong experience working on residential structures Experience with new build and/or historic buildings Good knowledge of UK building regulations and design standards Experience carrying out inspections, surveys and report writing is highly desirable Proficiency with relevant structural design software Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage workload and projects effectively Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering What’s on Offer Competitive salary based on experience Opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects Friendly and supportive team environment Clear career progression opportunities Ongoing professional development Join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation in the market Apply Now If you are an experienced Structural Engineer looking for your next move with a reputable consultancy, we would love to hear from you
