About the role
Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) 2 months £21 ph Umbrella OR £15.50 PAYE holiday 37 hours pw Kirklees Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to work with individuals and families affected by domestic violence.

This role is a community based project that will require travel across Kirklees.
Responsibilities of the Independent Domestic Violence Advocate: Building strong relationships with individuals and families affected by domestic violence Advocating for survivors Reviewing support plans Signposting clients to other services Managing high risk cases Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection Providing support around housing, criminal justice, health and finances Working in partnership and collaborating with partners and stakeholders Actively engaging clients and promote involvement in the service Essential Criteria of the Independent Domestic Violence Advocate: UK Driving License and access to own vehicle Enhanced DBS Experience working with those fleeing domestic abuse To be considered for this exciting role, please contact Bethan Hall (Associate Director) at Hamilton Woods on or apply online with a covering note of your experience and suitability referencing the job ID number. xwzovoh
