An established infrastructure services contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support the successful delivery and financial performance of sewage, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing commercial operations from pre-construction through to final account.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably, risks are effectively managed, and commercial controls are consistently applied across the business.
The Role This position involves managing all commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account, ensuring strong financial performance and effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities Manage all commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account Oversee cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions Prepare, review, and agree valuations, variations, and final accounts Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and performance Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities Work closely with operational teams to support project delivery and profitability Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and execution Manage project risks and issues, taking prompt action to resolve challenges and maintain programme momentum Support bid and pre-construction activities as required About You Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Civil Engineering, or similar Relevant health & safety certification preferred (e.g.
CSCS) Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor role within civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure sectors Strong knowledge xwzovoh of sewage, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects Experience overseeing projects from pre-construction through to final account Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to manage and develop commercial teams Strong experience in cost control and financial reporting Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Whats on Offer Opportunity to join a growing and well-established contractor High-profile infrastructure projects across the UK Leadership role with long-term progression potential Competitive salary and benefits package
