Junior Estimator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing construction company, for an Estimator to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to work on a varied portfolio of construction, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects across multiple sectors.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing packages while supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing detailed estimates and tender documents
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Sourcing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams
Assisting with budgets, cost planning, and commercial reporting
Ensuring all tenders are submitted accurately and on time

Requirements

Minimum of 1 years experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
Experience with refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance, or new build projects
Excellent commercial awareness and numerical skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating software
