Van Driver - Prestigious Furniture Retailer (Afternoon Shifts) Location: Walsall Start Time: 1:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time / Ongoing Salary: £12.71- 13.23ph Join a leading name in the furniture industry, known for quality and exceptional customer service. We're currently looking for reliable, physically fit Van Drivers to join our 2-person home delivery crew, delivering high-end furniture directly to customers' homes. Job Role:: Driving a 3.5T van as part of a 2-person delivery team Delivering premium furniture into customers' homes - room of choice delivery Heavy lifting involved - must be comfortable handling large, bulky items with a partner Providing excellent customer service during every delivery Performing basic assembly on some items (e.g., attaching legs to tables, fitting headboards)Requirements needed: Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 points Physically fit - this is a hands-on, active role with heavy lifting Experience in home delivery or working in 2-person crews preferred Great communication and customer service skills Willingness to carry out light assembly work when required Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethicThe Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
