Partner - Immigration

Global firm with fantastic reputation for client service, has a brand new requirement for an Immigration Partner to lead their UK Immigration Department as part of their wider firm offering. You will provide main point of contact service for UK immigration queries, particularly focused within the corporate immigration space.

This award-winning practice has gone from strength to strength and are looking to hire a senior operator to drive the development of their immigration service.

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Act as main point of contact for a range of clients regarding UK immigration legislation, including but not limited to M&A, corporate structure, secondments, recruitment, contracts of employment, TUPE etc.
• Provide advice for a range of HNW Private Clients regarding their immigration queries
• Work with other departments to cross-sell firm services and offer a multi-faceted approach
• Provide advice to corporations on the Global Mobility/Skilled Worker visa category and act as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System
• Visit client sites to provide training and undertake audits on immigration compliance
• Take an active lead in business development, driving new firm initiatives

You will be:

• A Senior Solicitor/Partner with strong experience in UK immigration law, ideally from a city/global law firm environment.
• A proven track record in developing commercial solutions for clients.
• Ability to build strong client relationships is also key as you will provide a main point of contact service to a range of high profile clients.
• Proven business development skills, able to demonstrate cross-selling across wider firm services, along with a track record of generating consistent revenues with potential for growth
