We're looking for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an ambitious Junior Sous Chef to play a key role in a dynamic & growing restaurant group with big plans ahead. You will be joining a driven and passionate team. Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand across three locations, Berenjak is an exciting group of Persian restaurants with four locations in the UK (Mayfair, Soho, Borough Market and Soho Farmhouse) and seven internationally across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and New York.
The Location
Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, Berenjak is a fast paced, exciting and critically acclaimed Persian restaurant situated in the heart of Soho. The menu reinterprets the classic hole in the wall eateries lining the streets of Tehran. The restaurant accommodates 40 covers over one floor, rustic and lively, bringing to life Iranian history and culture. We have a passionate, fun & enthusiastic team that embody this culture and re-create, family-oriented memories for guests.
The Position As Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high quality and innovative dishes throughout the operation. Working closely with the senior team; you will assist in managing the overall kitchen operation,
If you have the following, then we want to hear from you:
Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-quality Restaurant;
Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce;
A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail;
Proven ability to manage, train and motivate a Kitchen brigade;
A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures;
