  • Work in partnership with young people and support staff to organise and facilitate a range of programmes that will empower young people, help develop life skills, improve health and wellbeing, become responsible stewards of the environment, and build resilience.
  • Work co-operatively with schools, childrens services, health agencies, and other community-based services to provide the most effective service for young people and families during daytime training, after-school, and evening workshops.
  • Develop volunteering and mentoring programmes and supervise volunteers.
  • Contribute to service development.
  • Assist the DBMI Management Committee with the development of financial and sustainable strategies for all associated activities and training.
  • Identify relevant funding bodies, complete funding application forms, and reports.
  • Manage the Project Budget with the support of the Treasurer and Management Committee.

  • Carry out relevant administrative duties and ensure proper record keeping for all systems and funding in line with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), keeping strictly confidential any information regarding children, young people, their families, and others in line with organisation policies and procedures.
  • Compile monthly and annual reports and worksheets.
  • Maintain monitoring databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide verbal and written reports as required by the Board of Trustees and Funders regarding the monitoring of the project.
  • Attend regular supervision meetings as required.
  • Participate in training as and when required.
  • Oversee and apply Safeguarding Policies and procedures.
  • Undertake any other duties relevant to the post.
