About the role

PE Global is currently recruiting for Machine Operators for a leading manufacturing company in Bangor, County Down.

Pay rate is £13.12/hr or £13.41/hr with FLT licence (training can be provided).

Shifts: 8-hour rotation, Monday–Friday (Days & Evenings)


Responsibilities


  • Operation of large-scale industrial machinery to defined instructions and operating procedures.
  • Follow a production schedule, working within a small team/crew.
  • Manufacture adhesive-coated tapes for automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.
  • Set up machines, load raw material into machines, manually operate machines, and unload finished product from machine.
  • Work from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures.
  • Operate with moderate direction, identifying issues/problems and seeking assistance when required.
  • Operator has control over product quality.


Education / Experience


  • Good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity required.
  • Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred.
  • Working in a safe manner is the number one priority.
  • Reliable timekeeping, working to your best ability, and able to follow instructions.
  • FLT license preferred (training can be provided).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment operating production equipment. xwzovoh
