We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and nurturing Reception Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who has a strong understanding of early years education and is committed to providing a rich, engaging, and supportive learning environment for young children at the very start of their school journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven knowledge and experience of the EYFS framework
- Experience delivering or supporting Read Write Inc phonics
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Desirable:
- Experience working in a Reception setting
- A creative and flexible approach to curriculum delivery
- A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
