About the role

Equifind is partnering with a young, fast-growing Private Debt Fund Manager with $2.9bn AUM to recruit a Fund Finance Director.

Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.

This ambitious, multinational investment group specialises in providing private loans to companies across Europe, typically with EBITDA in the £10–£50m range.

Ahead of their latest fund launch, they are looking to hire a senior finance professional to support the investment team and CFO across fund control, investor relations, credit modelling, and deal/fund structuring.

Interestingly, they are not looking for your ‘typical’ accountant. With many core finance processes expected to become increasingly automated through their ongoing AI initiatives, they are looking for a commercially minded individual who can operate with a broader, strategic perspective.

The business has around 30 employees, offering a nimble environment with strong exposure and regular interaction with senior stakeholders. The role reports to both the CFO and the CIO and is based in Mayfair, with an expectation of three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the CFO and investment team on fund control, including oversight of reporting, NAV, and third-party providers
  • Partnering with the deal team on credit modelling, underwriting, and ongoing portfolio analysis
  • Contributing to fund and deal structuring, working closely with legal, tax, and external advisors
  • Assisting with investor relations, including preparation of investor materials, reporting, and ad hoc requests
  • Taking a commercial, forward-looking approach to finance, delivering insights beyond historical reporting
  • Engaging with ongoing automation and AI initiatives to help build a more efficient and scalable finance function

Application Requirements:

  • Qualified accounting qualification.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar fund reporting role.
  • Experience of working within alternative asset management.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and global environment.
  • Strategic mindset with strong critical‑thinking and decision‑making capability.

What’s on Offer:

  • £120,000–£140,000 base salary.
  • Annual bonus plan (c.30% Y1)
  • 27 days’ annual leave.
  • Employer pension contribution.
  • Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment. xwzovoh
  • Employee assistance programmes and additional perks.
