Responsive Personnel are pleased to be working with a local company who are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team due to business growth.
**Due to location, own transport (including car, moped, motorbike or push bike) will be required as there are no public transport links**
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be working alongside the rest of the warehouse team, reporting into the Warehouse Manager. Thisisaveryactiverolewithheavylifting involved using manual handling aids.
Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative will include (but not limited to):
Conductregularstockcheckstomaintaininventoryaccuracy.
Carefullyload,unload,andmoveheavygoods,includingsofas,ensuringsafetyandefficiency.
Movepalletsasrequiredthroughoutthedistributioncentre.
Receiveandsortcustomerreturns.
Pickgoodsaccordingtoorderspecifications,preparingthemforshipment.
Labelgoodsaccuratelyasrequired.
Scanmaterialsintoandoutoflocationsinlinewithcompanyprocedurestomaintaininventoryaccuracy.
Warehouse Operative ExperienceandQualifications:
Abletohandleandmoveheavygoodssafely.
ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeandothercomputerapplications.
Goodunderstandingandexperienceworkingwithwarehousemanagementsystems.
Highlevelofaccuracy.
Abilitytoworkeffectivelyaspartofateam.
