About the Role
We're looking for a driven and hands-on Process Technologist to join our fast-paced pizza topping and bakery manufacturing team in Nottingham. This is a factory and office based role, giving you the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle from handover through to launch.
You'll play a key part in delivering an exciting pipeline of new products, with multiple launches planned over the coming months, including seasonal ranges for autumn and Christmas. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll support product trials, scale-ups, and successful factory handovers while gaining exposure to all areas of the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support product trials on the factory floor, ensuring smooth execution and accurate results
- Take ownership of NPD projects from handover through to launch and factory handover
- Conduct process audits and identify opportunities for improvement
- Investigate raw material and product quality issues, implementing effective solutions
- Collaborate with suppliers, including site visits to explore new ingredients and innovations
- Support product scale-up activities and ensure consistency in production
About You
You're an experienced Process Technologist who enjoys being both on the factory floor and in an office environment. You're comfortable taking charge during trials and can effectively communicate with production teams to deliver results.
You're highly organised, solutions-focused, and excited by the challenge of working on multiple projects at different stages. With a passion for food innovation, you're keen to develop your expertise across pizza and bakery products while contributing to a high-performing team. xwzovoh
Key Skills & Experience
- Degree in Food Science (or related discipline)
- Food Safety L3 and above
- Proven experience as a Process or NPD Technologist
- Confidence managing factory trials and working in a production environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
