Pay rate: £26.42 - £29.46 per hour, PAYE & Umbrella rates available

Location: Dungeness

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week.

Our client, a leader in Nuclear Generation require a talented Draughtsperson / CAD Operative to join their team based in Dungeness. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about design and technical drawing and wants to contribute to important projects within a regulated yet collaborative environment.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:

• Proven experience as a Draughtsperson or in a similar role.
• Recognised CAD qualification essential.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software (knowledge of GTX RasterCAD Plus or similar Raster/Vector software would be a bonus).
• Good understanding of technical drawings, building codes, and industry standards.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Role information:

• Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics based on specifications given by engineers and registered contract partners.
• Collaborate with engineers, contract partners, and project managers to ensure design specifications are met.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Plotter management and scanning.
