If you’re someone who enjoys helping children with SEND thrive, this could be the perfect fit. We’re looking for a kind, patient, and supportive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school. You’ll be helping pupils feel confident, safe, and ready to learn every day.
What you’ll do:
Support children 1:1 or in small groups with SEND needs
Help pupils access learning in ways that suit them best
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
Encourage communication, social skills, and independence
Celebrate every achievement - big or small
Who we’re looking for:
Experience supporting children with SEND (including ASD, PMLD, or other complex needs)
A calm, patient, and positive approach
Someone who builds trust quickly and offers consistency
Good communication skills and empathy
Passion for helping every child reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
