SEN Teaching Assistant – Congleton | Long-Term Opportunity (Sept 2026 – July 2027) Congleton, Cheshire | Full-Time | Long-Term Role Pay: £95 – £100 per day (DOE) Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Weekly PAYE Pay – No Umbrella Companies About the Opportunity Astro Education is recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded village primary school near Congleton. This is a full academic year placement (September 2026 – July 2027), working 1:1 with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school has an excellent reputation, with a supportive leadership team and a welcoming staff environment—something consistently highlighted by those who have worked there. The role offers valuable stability and consistency, which is essential when supporting pupils with additional needs. There is also potential for the role to become permanent or extend into the following academic year (2027–2028), as the school prioritises continuity for its pupils.
