Salary: (M1- U3) (£34,398 – £52,490)

Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? Our welcoming Watford school is seeking a dedicated professional to make a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in an inclusive environment where every child is valued. You will deliver tailored teaching and support to help pupils access learning, achieve their potential, and develop key communication, social and life skills.
About the Role:
Deliver tailored teaching and support to pupils with special educational needs, including non-verbal learners.
Plan and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), using appropriate and alternative communication strategies where required.
Create an inclusive, engaging and supportive classroom environment in collaboration with support staff and wider school teams.
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing clear feedback to the SENCO and relevant teaching staff.
Promote independence, communication and social interaction, supporting pupils to develop key life and learning skills.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not required but preferred.
Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties).
A patient, empathetic and adaptable approach to teaching.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to inclusive education and supporting every child’s individual needs.
An enhanced DBS check and professional references.
