Role Overview:
Joining at an exciting period of growth, you will work across some of the most desirable automotive brands in the world. As a Senior UI & Animation Designer, you will bridge the gap between creative intent and technical execution. You will be responsible for interpreting UX/UI designs and transforming them into high-fidelity, production-ready components. Your primary focus is ensuring visual quality control and delivering pixel-perfect UI according to complex HMI (Human Machine Interface) specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hands on experience working with Adobe After Effects for Animations.
•Interpret creative intent and design UI components that remain faithful to the original vision while being technically viable for development teams.
• Bring visuals to life through sophisticated animation, ensuring an engaging and seamless user experience.
• Actively contribute to, maintain, and evolve comprehensive design systems to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
• Maintain rigorous visual quality control, ensuring all outputs meet "pixel-perfect" standards and align with complex HMI specifications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, specifically acting as the bridge between UX and UI design departments.
• Act as a UI champion within the business, promoting design best practices and educating stakeholders on the importance of consistent, brand-led narratives.
Technical Skills & Software:
• Figma: Expert-level proficiency for UI design and component management.
• Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced skills in After Effects (for animation), Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Design Systems: Proven experience working within and evolving structured design systems.
• HMI/UI Design: Deep understanding of technical and creative design principles for complex interfaces.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Degree or equivalent level qualification in a related design field (Graphic Design, UI/UX, Motion Design, etc.).
• Significant experience as a UI Designer with a specialized focus on animation.
• A professional portfolio is mandatory, showcasing previous UI design and animation work (After Effects).
• Ability to work on-site in Gaydon 3 days per week (subject to change based on project requirements). xwzovoh
• Must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 4–5 years with full, unrestricted right to work (No sponsorship available).
