Operations and Logistics Assistant

Are you a proactive problem-solver with a "get stuck in" attitude? We are looking for a versatile Operations & Logistics professional to join a well-established events business in Loughborough for an initial 5-week project (could be extended). Please note; with the nature of this role, flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays will be required. Salary: £12.71 per hour. Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (with flexibility required to outside these hours for company needs). Start date: Monday 25th May 2026 Main Duties and Responsibilities: Warehouse Duties Wrapping and packaging of items for safe transportation to events Retrieving and returning items from the company's storage facilities Loading and unloading vehicles Assisting with the picking, preparation, testing, maintenance, repairs and fabrication of the company's inventory of equipment, scenery, furniture and props Undertaking stock checks Cleaning of equipment and maintaining a clean working environment Assisting with maintenance of facilitiesLogistics Driving company vans and cars for the purpose of delivering/collecting items to site and suppliersOn-site Occasional travel to site locations in the UK and if required to assist with the successful delivery of live events When on site your role will report to the project manager and assist with the set-up and derigging of equipment, scenery, furniture and props Essential Requirements: Full UK driving licence Excellent written and verbal communication Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines calmly and efficiently Strong IT skills If you are looking for a temporary position in Loughborough and have a UK driving licence, apply for this role now!
