Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) Location: Kettering (must be able to drive) Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until the end of the academic year Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Pay: £100 per day Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive educational setting in the Kettering area. This is a full-time position, working five days a week, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within a specialist unit. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping students access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential in a structured and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities Support students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties Help manage behaviour in line with school policies Encourage social, emotional, and academic development Assist with personal care if required Requirements: Previous experience working within SEN units or with SEN pupils is essential A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to individual student needs Must be able to drive and commute to Kettering What We Offer: Competitive daily rate of £100 Full-time, consistent work until the end of the academic year Supportive school environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives If you are passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and are available to start immediately, we would love to hear from you.
