Primary Teacher

Year 1 Teacher (x2 Roles) Location: Mansfield (NG18) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time Salary: £150–£200 per day Class Mate is recruiting two full-time Year 1 Teachers for a supportive primary school in NG18, starting immediately. The Role • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum • Plan, prepare and assess learning to meet national expectations • Support pupils’ development in phonics, literacy and numeracy • Create a structured, inclusive and positive classroom environment • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff The Ideal Candidate • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1 • Strong knowledge of phonics (e.g. Little Wandle / Read Write Inc) • Excellent classroom management skills • Passionate about supporting pupil progress and development Requirements • QTS and relevant teaching qualification • Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) • Ability to provide two professional references Why Join Class Mate? • Competitive daily pay • Full-time, long-term opportunity • Supportive and well-established school • Dedicated consultant support • Opportunities for further placements across local schools If you’re a committed KS1 Teacher looking for a full-time role in NG18, we’d love to hear from you
