About the role
Our client deliver multidisciplinary construction services nationally across real estate, regeneration and infrastructure, bringing commercial precision, strategic oversight and global capability to every project.
Due to continued growth across our client's Infrastructure division, they are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to support the delivery of major National Grid infrastructure projects across North Wales and the North West.
Working within high-profile Power & Energy programmes, you will lead commercial and contractual management activities across complex infrastructure schemes, supporting successful project delivery under NEC contracts.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on nationally significant projects that support the UK’s transition to net zero and the future resilience of the energy network.
Key Responsibilities

Lead commercial management activities across major infrastructure and energy projects
*
Administer NEC contracts, including compensation events, change control and early warnings
*
Prepare cost reporting, forecasts, valuations and commercial updates
*
Monitor project performance, budgets and commercial risk
*
Support procurement, contract management and stakeholder engagement
*
Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors and project teams
*
Drive commercial governance, compliance and best practice across projects
About You
*
Proven commercial management or Quantity Surveying experience within infrastructure, utilities or Power & Energy projects
*
Strong NEC contract knowledge and commercial management capability
*
Experience delivering across major infrastructure or capital delivery programmes
*
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
*
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar
*
MRICS or equivalent desirable
