Mechanical Support Technician

Morson are recruiting Mechanical Support Technicians to support mechanical maintenance activities on submarines at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.

Key Responsibilities
Support mechanical assembly, maintenance and repair of submarine systems and components
Carry out inspections, fault finding and basic testing of mechanical systems
Work in line with engineering standards, procedures and safety requirements
Support maintenance activities within a high-risk, regulated environment
Essential Skills & Experience
Experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance or production support
Experience within marine, industrial, manufacturing or similar environments
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and xwzovoh technical documentation
Strong understanding of health & safety in high-risk environments
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical or related discipline
Additional Information
Pay rate dependent on experience
Initial 6-month contract
Inside IR35
SC Security Clearance required
