Project Manager – Insurance Software

Essex (2 days onsite: Monday & Wednesday)

I'm working with a well-established and growing software provider within the insurance sector, delivering innovative solutions to insurers, brokers, and underwriting agencies across the UK and Europe.

They’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of end-to-end delivery across a range of client and internal projects, while also contributing to insurance solution design through strong business analysis and technical understanding.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role—ideal for someone who enjoys shaping solutions as much as delivering them.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering projects on time and within budget, from initiation through to implementation
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients, building strong, lasting relationships
• Gathering and translating business requirements into clear project and technical deliverables
• Managing data migration, testing (including UAT), and system implementation activities
• Working closely with developers, analysts, and end users to ensure successful outcomes
• Producing project plans, documentation, and client proposals
• Identifying and designing practical, scalable solutions to complex business problems

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing IT/software projects, within insurance
• Strong understanding of the insurance lifecycle (broking knowledge is highly beneficial)
• Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Confident communicator with experience in client-facing environments
• A self-starter who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-paced setting

Nice to Have

• Business Analysis experience
• Knowledge of structured delivery methodologies
• Background working with software vendors or internal IT delivery teams
