Overview

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.
We are seeking skilled and reliable Class 1 Drivers to join our team, completing national general haulage deliveries and collections on aMonday to Sundaybasis, which will entail both days and nights.

Start times may vary, but shifts are generally anytime after midnight (0:00) to midday (12:00)

Pay:

• Weekdays-DAY SHIFT: £15.62PH, overtime on day shift on Saturdays: £18.74PH and Sundays £20.52PH
• NIGHT SHIFT- Mon to Friday only (finishing Sat morning) £16.51ph

PAYE only, weekly pay through Swift Temps Ltd

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Delivery of goods to the required location and obtaining proof of delivery.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience:

• Class 1 Licence (Cat C+E)
• Current CPC and digital driving card
• Clean Driving Licence and at least 1 years driving experience preferred
• Familiarity with roadways and routes throughout the UK.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. xwzovoh
