Nursery Assistant – Beaconsfield Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire Start Date: ASAP / September Start Available Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time, Term-Time or Year-Round A friendly and nurturing early years setting in Beaconsfield is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children during their early development. About the Role As a Nursery Assistant, you will: * Support the day-to-day care and learning of children within the EYFS setting * Assist with play-based learning activities that promote development * Help create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment * Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development * Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and transitions * Work closely with the Nursery Practitioners and room leaders * Observe and support children’s progress and development Requirements * Experience working with young children or in a nursery/EYFS setting * A warm, patient, and nurturing approach * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Understanding of safeguarding and child development basics * Willingness to support personal care needs * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Desirable * Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years * Knowledge of the EYFS framework * Experience supporting children with additional needs What’s on Offer * ASAP or September start available * Supportive and welcoming nursery team * Opportunities for training and progression * A rewarding role supporting children at a key stage of development
