Technical Account Manager 📍 Wigan, Greater Manchester 💰 Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits 🕒 Full Time | Permanent We’re recruiting for an experienced Technical Account Manager to join a leading fresh food manufacturing business supplying major UK retailers, restaurants, and foodservice brands. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in food manufacturing, technical compliance, and customer management to take ownership of key customer relationships and drive continuous improvement across quality, food safety, and technical performance. The Role * Act as the main technical contact for key customers * Build strong customer relationships and manage technical expectations * Lead customer meetings, audits, and site visits * Drive improvement plans around complaints, microbiology, and site standards * Support and develop the Technical Compliance Officer * Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and growers About You * Minimum 5 years’ experience within chilled food manufacturing * Background in QA or Technical roles within food production * Customer-facing technical experience within the food industry * HACCP qualified with internal auditing experience * Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills What’s On Offer * Salary up to £50,000 * Annual bonus scheme * 33 days holiday * Life assurance * Health & wellbeing support including remote GP access * Funded training & development opportunities * Employee discounts and recognition schemes If you’re looking for your next challenge within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you
