As an ASD Teacher, you will be teaching students with a range of complex needs, including Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties. You will be responsible for delivering personalised learning plans, focusing on communication, life skills, and sensory-based learning. The role involves working closely with support staff and therapists to ensure each student reaches their full potential. Experience with alternative communication methods such as PECS or Makaton is highly desirable. An enhanced DBS on the update service and prior SEN teaching experience is required.
