About the role
Our client, a leading national civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of a heavy structures project.
Project Engineer Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and delivery of heavy structural works, ensuring compliance with programme and specification.
* Prepare, review, and manage ITPs and RAMS.
* Ensure all works are delivered in line with quality assurance standards and project requirements.
* Liaise with the client, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain effective communication.
* Monitor and coordinate temporary works, ensuring compliance with design and safety procedures.
* Keep accurate site records and documentation to support audits and project tracking.
Project Engineer Requirements:
* Proven experience working on heavy structures or major civils projects
* Strong working knowledge of ITPs, RAMS, and quality processes
* Good understanding of temporary works procedures
* CSCS Card, SMSTS
* Strong organisational and communication skills
This role does not involve setting out duties, is outside ir35 with accomadation provided.
