Equipment Operator

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to support an offshore Array Cable Project on a long-term contractual basis starting in June/July. The role involves operating and maintaining specialist cable installation and handling equipment, working closely with the vessel and offshore teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate array cable installation and handling equipment in line with project procedures
• Perform pre-use checks, routine maintenance, and first-line troubleshooting
• Support cable lay, pull-in, landing, and cable protection activities
• Adhere strictly to HSEQ standards and promote a strong safety culture
• Coordinate with deck crew, supervisors, and project representatives
• Complete operational logs, checklists, and reports as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Equipment Operator on offshore cable installation projects xwzovoh
• Previous array cable project experience is essential
• Valid GWOs
• Valid offshore medical
• Strong commitment to safe working practices
• Happy to work within 12 nautical miles of the UK
• Available to commit to a 4/4 rotation over an 8–10 month contract starting in June/July
