Hgv Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tuxford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30am starts (average finish 6-7pm) Pay Rates: * Class 1 PAYE: £15.77 per hour * Class 1 Rolled Up: £17.67 per hour * Class 1 ADR PAYE: £16.80 per hour * Class 1 ADR Rolled Up: £18.83 per hour Location:?Tuxford, NG22. Job Type: Ongoing with the potential for perm contract for the right candidate. The role: * General haulage – palletised goods (no food). * Curtainsiders, tail lift & pump truck use. * Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to 20 drops/collections). * Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures. * Ensuring safe handling of goods and maintaining high driving standards. Requirements: * Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience. * ADR Packages licence preferred but not essential. * Must be 25+ (insurance purposes). * Maximum 6 points – no DD/DR/IN endorsements. * Full understanding of WTD legislation. * Strong communication & customer service skills. * Happy with both commercial and residential deliveries.
