Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Dudley Pay rate: £95–£110 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Provide tailored support that builds confidence, unlocks learning, and ensures progress for students with additional needs! GSL Education are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools in Dudley. The Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupils with a range of special educational needs, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities. Main Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN. Assist in adapting learning materials and classroom tasks. Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff. Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain a safe environment. Requirements of SEN TA: Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable. Patient, empathetic, and supportive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
