M&E Operations Manager

Position: Operations Manager Location: Wetherby, West Yorkshire Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (DOE) We currently have an opportunity to join a client of ours, a well-established M&E Contractor based in West Yorkshire who specialise in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC maintenance contracts within the commercial sector across West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. Operations Manager Job Overview Oversee a team of Electricians, HVAC Engineers and office-based staff to deliver ongoing maintenance contracts with commercial clients including schools, hospitals, and logistics facilities Quoting for additional remedial works on smaller projects ranging from £2k - £200k Liaising directly with clients, managing expectations, ongoing contract cost control and resolving client concerns Attending site surveys, managing jobs from quote to completion, overseeing H&S tasks on site, and supporting the office team Owning the overall profit margins on projects and liaising with the wider business to coordinate new business opportunities Operations Manager Job Requirements Strong M&E background, including experience overseeing multiple trades on maintenance and small works projects Confident in discussing multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, heating, and ventilation Experienced manager with a background managing H&S, site audits, recruitment, and cost control Confident in client management including tendering for new contracts, managing client concerns and providing technical support to clients Full UK driving licence and based within a commutable distance of Wetherby, West Yorkshire Operations Manager Salary & Benefits Basic salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum (DOE) Company vehicle with optional personal use Company pension 32 days holiday, including Bank Holidays Staff discount scheme through PerkboxBennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
