Data Administrator - Hybrid Working

PostgreSQL DBA Contractor 6 Months – London / Hybrid ( 3 Days in office) I’m currently working on a fantastic opportunity for a strong hands-on PostgreSQL DBA contractor to join a highly technical infrastructure team supporting complex production environments. Key responsibilities: PostgreSQL database administration and production support Performance tuning and optimisation High availability, replication, backup & disaster recovery Monitoring and troubleshooting database issues Supporting migrations/upgrades and platform improvements Working closely with infrastructure and engineering teams Ensuring security, reliability and scalability across the database environment Tech environment: • PostgreSQL • Linux • Cloud platforms – primarily Amazon Web Services / Aurora / RDS • CI/CD, Terraform and automation tooling exposure beneficial Looking for: Strong hands-on PostgreSQL DBA experience, Ideally over 7 years of experience Experience supporting large-scale or high-availability environments Good understanding of query performance and PostgreSQL internals Comfortable working in fast-paced engineering-driven environments Great Communication skills
