Job Responsibilities Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) safely and efficiently to transport waste materials and environmental products across designated routes. Able to help with groundworks/civils High pressure jetting Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including tachograph and driver hours legislation. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies. Assist with loading and unloading of waste materials, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Promote environmentally responsible driving practices to minimise carbon footprint. Required Skills & Qualifications Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with a clean driving record. Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) certification. Valid Digital Tachograph Card. Experience in environmental or waste management transportation is desirable. Strong knowledge of UK road regulations and safety standards. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
