Quantity Surveyor (Freelance) – 6 Week Contract Location: Kent (2 Live Projects) Rate: £300–£320 per day Duration: 6 Weeks Start: Immediate An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required on a temporary freelance basis to support the completion of two live construction projects in Kent. This is a 6-week contract suited to a hands-on QS who can step in quickly, provide commercial support, and help drive both schemes through final stages and close out. The Role: Manage final accounts and project close-out activities Review and agree subcontractor valuations and variations Support cost reporting and commercial forecasting Assist with contract administration and risk management Work closely with site and project teams to ensure smooth delivery Help ensure projects are completed on programme and within budget Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction Strong final accounts and project close-out experience Main contractor background preferred Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision Available immediately or at short notice Able to commute to sites in Kent What’s on Offer: £300–£320 per day 6-week freelance contract Opportunity to support the successful delivery of two live projects Immediate start available If you’re an experienced QS available for a short-term contract and looking for your next freelance assignment, apply now for more information
